Team Leader, Green Inclusive Development, Delegation of the European Union to Bangladesh
Edwin Koek koek has recently become the Team Leader of the Green Inclusive Development section at the Delegation of the European Union to Bangladesh. Previously, he held the position of First Counsellor on Energy and Climate Action at the EU Delegation to India, focusing on strengthening EU-India cooperation under the 2016 Clean Energy and Climate Partnership. With a history of 7 years at the Netherlands' Ministry of Environment, including roles in climate negotiations and air quality policy, he then worked 11 years for the European Parliament secretariat. Based on his work in the Environment Committee and his expertise in the area of environment, climate change, renewable energy, and EU legislative procedures, he advised the President of the European Parliament for 2.5 years, as a member of his Cabinet. Edwin studied Environmental Sciences at "Wageningen University & Research" in the Netherlands.

Hans Martin Hoegh Henrichsen is the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at Grameenphone Ltd. since May 15, 2022. With prior experience as CCAO of Telenor Myanmar, he adeptly managed operations during challenging periods. Over two decades, he played a vital role in expanding Telenor's Asian footprint, excelling in portfolio management and strategic modeling for mobile license acquisition. His insights into Bangladesh's business landscape are enriched by his past role as Chief Country Officer (2014-2018). Holding a Finance and International M.S. from the Norwegian School of Economics, Hans Martin's leadership shines through his diverse roles. Norwegian by origin, he takes pride in being a devoted father of two, reflecting his multifaceted accomplishments across a distinguished career.

Dr Khondaker Golam Moazzem is industrial economist by profession. His major area of interests includes development of industrial enterprises, entrepreneurship development, private investment including FDI, competition policy and trade related issues at the bilateral, regional and multilateral levels. Dr Moazzem holds a PhD from the Kyoto University, Japan. He was a visiting fellow at the Centre for South East Asian Studies (CSEAS), Kyoto University. He worked as a member of various committees at both the national and international levels. Dr Moazzem has published numerous articles in international peer-reviewed journals and several book chapters and co-authored books published by CPD.
Country Director, ActionAid Bangladesh
Farah Kabir has been working in the field of development and research for over 2 decades. She has research experience and a host of publications especially on Women in Politics and Gender & Climate to her credit. At present, she is working as the Country Director of ActionAid Bangladesh since June 2007. She won the "Nawab Ali Chowdhury National Award 2012" for her significant contribution in women's empowerment in Bangladesh. Farah has worked with British Council for close to ten years both in Bangladesh and UK. She is an active member of many professional societies namely UCEP General Assembly; Board of Trustees for Zero Tolerance, Scotland; Climate Action Network, South Asia and many other notable organizations. Over the past decade, she has built “Happy Home”, a safe home for 150 girls. Her leadership and determination led ActionAid to win the UN Sasakawa Award for disaster risk reduction and the Momentum for Change 2013.
