Currently, Mr. Azad Md Abul Kalam has been working as Director-Programme for Cordaid Bangladesh since March 2014. Before joining to Cordaid, he worked for DFID-Chars Livelihoods Programme (CLP), UNDP and CARE Bangladesh. Mr. Azad has more than 24 years experienced in project management specifically livelihoods development, circular economy (solid waste management), climate smart agriculture and humanitarian related project in Bangladesh. Mr. Azad hold master’s degree in Agricultural Economics (Marketing) from Bangladesh Agricultural University and master's in public health (MPH) from State University of Bangladesh. Also, completed short course on Livelihoods and Market Development from Coady Institute of St. Francis Xavier University in Canada.
