Musharrat Bidita
Musharrat Bidita brings over 5 years of experience in the development communications sector across various fields, including education, early childhood development, women and youth empowerment, microfinance, agriculture, healthcare, and energy. Proficient in communications strategy development, digital media campaigns, and multicultural team collaboration, she currently heads the communications team at USAID's Bangladesh Advancing Development and Growth through Energy (BADGE) project as the Communications Specialist. In her current role, she is responsible for implementing USAID BADGE’s communication strategy, branding and marking plan, providing high-level support to the leadership team, executing outreach activities, and ensuring that all communication efforts align with USAID requirements.
Previously, Ms. Bidita worked at BRAC International, where she led communications for 10 countries of operations across Africa and Asia, her responsibilities involved ensuring brand-compliant delivery of communications activities and products, including project planning, content curation, stakeholder collaboration, and donor outreach. Among her notable achievements include spearheading the content development and launch of the first-ever BRAC International website, which features microsites for 10 countries.
Ms. Bidita holds a Master's degree in Development Studies from North South University, Bangladesh, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Studies, specializing in strategic communications, from the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff, UK.
