Sohanur Rahman
MD Sohanur Rahman (27) is a passionate climate advocate and activist from coastal Bangladesh. He is a driving force behind YouthNet, the nation's largest youth network for climate justice. Established in 2016 and now active in 45 districts, YouthNet focuses on climate justice through grassroots campaigns, youth engagement, and community outreach to promote local action for global impact. Sohanur, previously Bangladesh's Youth Parliament Minister of Law and Judiciary, represented his country at the Commonwealth Youth Forum in London (2018). Globally recognized for his leadership, he actively addresses climate challenges and youth empowerment. Notably, Sohanur represented Bangladesh as the official youth delegate at the COP27 UN Climate Summit in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, in 2022.
