Tasnia Khandakar Prova
Tasnia Khandaker Prova is a research associate at the Centre for Peace and Justice, BRAC University, Bangladesh, exploring the nexus of migration, conflict and climate change. As a Commonwealth Scholar, she has investigated the possibility of ensuring ecological justice amid humanitarian crises, and is currently a cohort member of CACN (Climate Action Champions Network) - an alliance of South Asian activists and practitioners advancing climate action in the region. Her academic and professional interests have revolved around the rights of vulnerable populations at the margins, climate-induced displacement, participatory action research, and post-humanist ecocentrism. Tasnia is passionate about uplifting the voices of those disproportionately affected by climate adversities and using research methods that are non-extractive, ethical and empowering in nature.
